The Frequent Traveler Awards / FFP Spring Event , will be held in New York at the Sheraton LaGuardia East Hotel, 27 – 29 April 2011.  Hitit Director for Marketing & Sales, Mustafa Ozalcin will be present, participating in a panel discussing the issue of “Loyalty - For Love or for Money?”.

The inaugural FTA event last year saw Hitit client Kingfisher Airlines pick up several awards for the King Club frequent flyer program.

This year’s event will include keynote presentations by Randy Peterson, and Patrick Murphy, former Chairman of Ryanair, as well as a Loyalty “Lions Den”, hosted by Michael Smith.

The FTA Awards Gala Dinner ceremony will be hosted by veteran actor, Robert Wuhl.

Athens, July 12th, 2012 - Aegean Airlines achieved a remarkable success at the 2012 World Airline Awards, with air travellers again voting Aegean Airlines as Best Regional Airline in Europe.

The Survey, conducted by global aviation research organization SKYTRAX, polled over 18 million business and leisure air travellers from 100 countries, with the winners of these  passenger's choice awards announced at the Farnborough Airshow, UK on 12th July 2012. 

"For the third time in four years, Aegean Airlines customers have ensured that the airline achieves its deserved recognition by winning the award for the Best Regional Airline in Europe. This repeat result is an excellent achievement and Aegean Airlines should be proud of this customer recognition of quality consistency. Aegean Airlines continues to be a favourite amongst passengers and it is very noteworthy that it has also maintained its place in the top-25 global airlines," said Edward Plaisted, CEO of SKYTRAX.

Air travellers were surveyed by telephone, questionnaires and online about their experiences with airlines on the ground and in the air during a 10-month period. The survey measured passenger satisfaction across more than 38 key performance indicators of airline front-line product and service, including check-in, boarding, onboard seat comfort, cabin cleanliness, food, beverages, in-flight entertainment and staff service.  The Survey covered 246 airlines, from the largest international airlines to smaller domestic carriers.
